This oversized Michigan creel contains a wealth of valuable collector items. Inside the creel is a miniature creel used by salesmen as a sample item to demonstrate the product. Segments of a valuable vintage bamboo fly rod are visible in the foreground, with flies displayed on the cork handle and a box of assorted hand-tied flies in the left foreground. A Pflueger Golden West Reel is in the center of the photograph. The original green Golden West box is at the right. A Martin Automatic Fishing Reel is shown at the far left. The red Martin reel box is at the far right. Both reels were made in 1923. This has a textured finish (no glass), giving it the look and feel of canvas and is professionally framed in a 1.75" rustic brown frame.
