A Scott Zoellick painting forms the backdrop for this assortment of colorful lures. In the foreground is a Heddon No. 25 golden Expert rod and Heddon No. 45 casting reel. The rod was made in 1930 and the reel in 1906. Left to right just above the rod are the Hungry Jack lure made in 1931 by Lloyd & Co., IL; a Chippewa pike bait made in 1911 by the C.J. Frost Co., WI; and a line spool with a Kingfisher image. On the driftwood, left to right, are a Rhodes Mechanical Frog made in 1910 in MI; an Arbogast Tin Liz Sunfish made in 1908 in Ohio; a Gobel Tulsa Wiggler made in 1934 at Marshfield, WI. In the immediate foreground below the fishing rod is a Shakespeare Midget Underwater lure made in 1925 in MI. This has a textured finish (no glass), giving it the look and feel of canvas and is professionally framed in a 1.75" rustic brown frame.
